Hello! My name is Trevor and I’m a professional journalist. I’m an outgoing, outspoken people person who brings a personable attitude and an unending curiosity to the newsroom. I have ample experience doing day-turns in the fast-paced news environment of Washington D.C., and the quality of my work is improving bit-by-bit every day. My persistence is ever-present, and my previous employers will vouch for my enthusiasm and dedication to the profession.

I have my bachelor’s degree in journalism from The Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at ASU. My love of journalism coupled with my unending curiosity reflect strong traits of drive and passion in my personality. I work exceedingly hard to ensure that my goals eventually become realities, such as reporting in Washington D.C. and working for a major newspaper, both of which I accomplished in college. I’ve worked hard to increase my social media presence and have grown my professional profiles across multiple platforms.

Cusco, Peru

Student worker

  • I went down to Peru for a month as part of a study abroad program at ASU. I worked at an orphanage for little girls in the mountains of Cusco. While I was there I gave the girls English lessons, helped them with their homework, and helped prepare their meals. I also toured local news stations to get an idea of how the reporting industry works in foreign countries.

LOAVES AND FISHES, Santa Ana, CA                                                                  November 2009 – November 2012


Distributed cooked meals for the underprivileged. Set up and worked game booths, packed groceries for distribution to homeless. Worked Christmas events setting up and handing out gifts to children. 100+ hours.


PEDIATRIC BRAIN TUMOR FOUNDATION, Laguna Hills, CA                                     May 2009 – May 2013


Worked every May at silent auction fundraiser for the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation. Responsibilities included set up, clean up and serving the guests food and drinks. The event takes in thousands of dollars

each year. 40+ hours.
